This is the Internet home for the conworld Idzon, its (fictitious) cultures, and the (fictitious) languages spoken there. Some of the pages will be simple notes about an aspect of the world, and some will be rather technical lingustic or historical essays. A whole world offers seemingly infinite possibilites, so there's always something new to write about, whenever I have the time.

Each language will have its own dictionary here on this site, organized much like the Wiktionary site

The name of each text is a link to the English text that I used in translating. The languages to the right of the text name are links to the translations. Each language's translation page also has a link to a list of words used in that text.

I got the original idea for Idzon from Virtual Verduria, which is probably the most detailed world on the Internet (outside of our own). The best conlang resource is probably Langmaker, which has links to hundreds of languages and resources to make your own. And the Conlang mailing list is good for just about anything. Some of the example sentences are from here as well. (Note that that last link is down as of 6/1/2007, but I have archived the collection of sentences at my old site.)
The interlinears on this site were made with my ILF script.
